About
Custom AI systems, built in Nashville
We build custom AI systems that take real work off small businesses’ plates, and keep a person approving anything a customer will see. Practical technology, checked against what actually happens.
Built in Nashville, since 2020.
- Built custom
- Human-approved
- Your data stays yours
Akira Web Solutions is a Nashville software company, founded in 2020 by Ryan Hood, that builds custom AI systems for small businesses. We start with a consult to find the work that eats your week, build a system around how your business actually runs, and stay on a monthly retainer to manage the data and keep improving the AI. Anything the AI decides runs on a feedback loop, anything a customer will see waits for human approval, and your data stays yours.
Our story
Akira Web Solutions was founded in 2020 by Vanderbilt University graduate Ryan Hood. Inspired by how much AI and automation could change the way businesses operate, Ryan set out to build a company dedicated to putting those technologies to practical, measurable work.
Since then, we’ve helped businesses ship real results — from building custom websites and web apps to running technical SEO, integrating AI, and managing the data behind it all. As the tools keep evolving, we stay at the front of them, so our clients do too.
Today that work is custom AI systems for small businesses, nationwide and here at home. It starts with a consult, becomes a build around how a business actually runs, and continues as a monthly retainer to manage the data and keep improving the AI. Anything the AI decides runs on a feedback loop, and anything a customer will see waits for human approval. We run the same kind of systems on Akira itself, including the engine behind this site.

Connect on LinkedInHow we work
Every engine we run follows the same loop: it works from data you own, an AI agent does the real work, we measure what actually happened, and it improves — with a human approving anything before it ships.
- Technically credible — specific over vague
- Plain-spoken — jargon translated for business owners
- Premium, consultative, high-trust
- Evidence over hype — never fabricate results

Straight answers about who we are and how we work.
- Where is Akira Web Solutions based?
- Akira is based in Nashville, Tennessee. We work with Middle-Tennessee businesses in person and with clients across the United States.
- Who founded Akira Web Solutions?
- Akira was founded in 2020 by Ryan Hood, a Vanderbilt University graduate, to make AI and automation practical and measurable for real businesses.
- What does Akira do?
- Akira builds custom AI systems that take real work off small businesses' plates, with human approval on anything a customer will see. It starts with a consult, becomes a custom build, and continues as a monthly retainer to manage the data and keep improving the AI. AI agents, B2B outreach, SEO and AI visibility, and the software underneath are built the same way.
- How is Akira different?
- Two rules run through everything we build: anything the AI decides runs on a feedback loop, and anything a customer will see waits for a person to approve it. Most AI projects end at launch. Ours keep running, get checked against what actually happened, and your data stays yours.
